Rhonda Mitchell has a passion for sharing the love of God to all she meets, especially to women and young people.  She is a native of Muskogee, OK.  She is married to Pastor J. L. Mitchell of the Tabitha Baptist Church.  At the Tabitha Church she serves as a counselor to the Young Adult Woman’s Ministry, the Co-Chairman of the Compassionate Care Ministry, and the Junior Class Sunday School Teacher. 

 

Sis. Mitchell is active in the East Zion Consolidated District Association, currently serves as the President of the Woman’s Ministry, and on the Banquet Committee.  She is also active in the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc.  She is the Western Region Youth Director of the Woman’s Department, Auxiliary to the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., under the leadership of Dr. Hugh Dell Gatewood, Woman’s Auxiliary President and Dr. Julius R. Scruggs, Convention President. 

 

She and her husband of more than 20 years, Pastor Mitchell, have three children, and six grandchildren.
