Dear Tabitha Family,
I am excited to announce the launch of our R³ Building Fund, an initiative designed to help us faithfully care for the house of the Lord. Scripture reminds us in II Chronicles 24:5 of the importance of maintaining the temple, and we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that the place where we gather for worship, fellowship, and ministry remains safe, functional, and reflective of excellence. Through this effort, we are taking a proactive approach to addressing facility needs while continuing to move the ministry forward.
The R³ Building Fund focuses on Replacing, Restoring, and Repairing areas of the church as needs arise. Establishing this fund allows us to plan responsibly for improvements rather than waiting until urgent issues occur. Our goal is to ensure that our facilities continue to support effective ministry and provide an environment where individuals and families can grow in faith and experience the presence of God.
Because of your faithful support, several important improvements have already been completed. These include installing a new roof, repairing and painting a section of the ceiling in the sanctuary, replacing three air conditioning units, replacing siding on the side of the church, and painting the exterior of the fellowship hall building. These examples represent some of the progress we have already made together, and we are grateful for every contribution that has helped strengthen the church.
While much has been accomplished, there are still needs that fall within one of the three R’s — Replace, Restore, or Repair. Some of these needs include replacing two additional air conditioning units that are not operational, replacing the ice machine, renovating the bathrooms, replacing outdated computers throughout the church, and painting the remaining ceiling areas. These items are not intended to represent a complete list, as we will continue to evaluate additional needs as they arise.
To support the R³ Building Fund, members are asked to prayerfully consider participating at one of the following giving levels: $300 for individuals, $600 for families, and $100 for youth (optional). Giving will begin in May, which is the second month of the second quarter, and the second month of each quarter moving forward will be designated as a special emphasis period for the R³ Building Fund. After the initial commitment, members may continue to give as the Lord places on their heart.
Thank you for your continued faithfulness and generosity. Because of your willingness to give, we are able and will be able to maintain and strengthen the place where we gather to worship and serve together. Quarterly updates will be provided outlining what has been raised and identifying what has been replaced, restored, or repaired through the R³ Building Fund. I am excited about what we will accomplish together as we continue to move forward in faith.
